The Artist

I’m Marinda Scaramanga, an artist whose journey through various realms has shaped my unique perspective and artistic expression. With a background in Art and Antiquities Conservation and Restoration, Arts Management and Communication, and a deep-rooted passion for dance, I’ve cultivated a diverse set of skills and experiences that inform my artistry.

After years spent in the Shipping and Oil and Gas industries, my unwavering love for art remained a constant companion. Alongside my professional endeavors, I honed my craft, studying ballet in the Royal Academy and Vaganova systems, as well as contemporary release dance. This fusion of disciplines instilled in me a profound appreciation for movement, form, and the interplay of light and shadow.

My artistic journey has been marked by a series of solo exhibitions in prestigious venues across Monaco, Japan, France, Italy and Greece since 2012. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous art projects, including collaborations with UNESCO in Monaco.

The Art

In my art, I prioritize color as a means of conveying emotion and energy, while shapes reveal themselves intuitively from within the canvas. Mindful practices such as yoga and meditation play a central role in my creative process, allowing me to tap into a deeper wellspring of inspiration and authenticity.

Photography has long been a passion of mine, and my artistic style has evolved over the years to incorporate elements of mixed media, bold black lines, and vibrant colors. Today, I find myself drawn to contemporary abstract expressionism, inspired by the boundless beauty of nature.

My process is to discover inner balance in nature’s embrace. I’m a born nature lover. I often let the whispers of the wind and the rhythm of the waves guide you back to myself. Through my art, I invite you to take a moment to breathe, to feel, to simply be.
